According to Heroic Hollywood, Warner studios are looking to cast Dark Knight Rises star Ben Mendelsohn in the new Justice League Dark movie.
Sources claim that the studio is looking to cast Mendelsohn as the DC Comics villain, Anton Arcane. However, the actor’s involvement is reportedly contingent upon who ends up directing the film.
Anton Arcane is a mad scientist responsible for creating monstrous creatures called “Un-Men” in his pursuit to attain immortality. He also serves as the primary nemesis of Swamp Thing.
Justice League Dark is expected to start shooting next year.
