100 Lionsgate films will be available on Steam

Valve has announced a new partnership with Lionsgate which sees more than 100 films available to buy or rent via Steam.

Steam Customers will be able to watch films like Hunger Games, Twilight, Saw, Divergent Series and cult favourite Leprechaun.

“We’re delighted to partner with Steam, a leader in the digital entertainment and gaming space, as part of our commitment to remain at the cutting edge of innovation in delivering content to online audiences around the world,” said Lionsgate’s Digital Distribution president, Jim Packer. “With over 125 million users, Steam represents a unique, exciting and disruptive opportunity to expand our global distribution business.”

Steam movies can be played on all Steam-supported platforms and even in virtual reality via SteamVR.
