2016 BAFTA Nominations announced

This year’s BAFTA nominations have been announced with few surprises.

Bridge of Spies and Carol both lead the way with nine nominations each. The Revenant follows close behind with eight, with Mad Max: Fury Road on seven, and Brooklyn and The Martian both on six.

The Big Short, The Danish Girl, and Ex Machina all have five nominations apiece, while Star Wars: The Force Awakens receives four. Check out the full list of nominees below:
