2016 Writers Guild Awards Recognize Trainwreck

The Writers Guild of America has announced their nominees for 2015’s finest achievements in screenwriting.

Perhaps the most pleasant surprise among the bunch is Amy Schumer’s hit comedy Trainwreck scoring a Best Original Screenplay nomination. Does this mean that Schumer will follow in the same footsteps of comedian Kristen Wiig, who received a screenplay Oscar nomination for Bridesmaids?
