The award season is in full swing in Hollywood with last night’s Critics Choice Awards just one of many award ceremonies in the last few weeks in the lead up to both Golden Globes and Academy Awards. This morning, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced the nominations for the 2017 Golden Globes, to be held on January 8th, 2017.

As expected, it’s La La Land is the leading contender with 7 nominations in the film categories including Best Picture – Comedy or Musical; Best Director; Best Actor and Best Actress. Manchester by the Sea, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, Lion and Moonlight lead the Best Picture – Drama.
