The brand new Power Rangers reboot isn’t due to release for another 10 months and yet already 6 more films in the franchise are being lined up.
Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer, revealed the news to Variety:
“We are really really excited about the Power Rangers movie… We could see doing five or six or seven,” he said.
So it’s clear that Lionsgate see a strong future for the franchise. However, making as many as 6 films will surely depend on how the first one or the follow-ups do at the box office.
The new cast could have a long future ahead.
The first Power Rangers film is directed by Dean Israelite and will hit screens on March 24, 2017.
