Christian Bale to star in Michael Mann’s new movie

Michael Mann has been trying to make the movie Ferrari for almost 15 years and at last he’s making progress as Deadline reports that the film now has it’s main star on board, Christian Bale.

The film will tell the true story of Enzo Ferrarri who redefined the high-powered Italian sports car and was partly responsible for kick-starting Formula 1 racing. The biopic will be based on Brock Yates’ 1991 book Enzo Ferrari: The Man, The Cars, The Races.

A studio is still yet to pick up the title but with Bale now set to play Enzo Ferrari, we expect the big studios to be queing up to secure this one.
