Doug Liman is in talks to helm the upcoming Gambit movie, starring Channing Tatum.
Deadline reports “recent Hollywood chatter has Doug Liman on an inside track to direct Channing Tatum in Gambit.” The Bourne Identity director will surely have his hands full, as rumours of him directing Tom Cruise in a sequel to Edge of Tomorrow have also popped up.
TheWrap’s film reporter, Jeff Sneider, also circulated the news with a post on Twitter.
True that Channing Tatum has been courting Doug Liman to direct GAMBIT. We'll see if he goes for it though…

Gambit is scheduled to release October 7. 2016. Hopefully this skilled action director gets the gig.
