Halloween Movies… In Rhyme

Genre:

Witch’s curses, empty hearses, vampire bites,
Trick or treating, monsters eating, it must be Halloween night
Here are a few movies sure to give you all a fright,
But whatever you do, don’t turn off the lights

Chucky gets his kicks,
Hellraiser can be a prick,
Michael hacks up some chicks,
Find out what makes Jason tick,
Just avoid Paranormal Activity Six

Ghostface makes you scream,
Freddy Krueger haunts your dreams

Who ya gonna call?

Ghostbusters cross their streams,
Monster Squad’s a kickass team

Beetlejuice has a ball

If you’re looking for something more on the family friendly side,
We’ve got ParaNorman, Coraline, and Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride

Casper, Addams Family, Hotel Transylvania,
Monster House, Frankenweenie, it’s Halloween mania

You can never go wrong with It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown,
There’s also Stephen King’s It with that Tim Curry clown,
Or you could just binge watch all four Halloweentown’s,
Don’t forget Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King takes the crown

There are horror classics like Dracula and Frankenstein,
The Mummy and Invisible Man still sends shivers up our spine,
Beware the Creature from the Black Lagoon,
Watch out for the Wolf Man on a full moon,
Throw in Abbott and Costello for a classic lampoon

The Saw movies will make you puke,
For legitimate thrills, watch the Babadook

Rosemary’s Baby chills us to the core,
And Jack Torrance will axe down your door

Rent They Live to kick ass and chew bubblegum,
Or Double Double Toil and Trouble for Olsen Twin fun

Scare your kids with Poltergeist,
Watch Jack Frost to see Shannon Elizabeth get iced

Then before you go to bed,
Watch Night of the living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Land of the Dead
Just don’t let these zombie flicks go to your head

That’s pretty much all the time we have for this little rhyme

But on a final note, check out the Exorcist if you want a classic,
Or The Human Centipede for something more graphic
Just keep in mind it can never be unseen
We hope you all have a Happy Halloween!
