Set for a 2017 release date and hoped to be the first in a series, this Witcher movie will delve into how Geralt became the butcher of Blaviken. This actually won’t be the first film based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series, though. Marek Brodzki’s Polish film, The Hexer, was technicality the first attempted Witcher movie. If you haven’t heard of it, you’re probably better off. Hopefully Bagiński’s adaptation will be better.
