Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino has been officially confirmed to write the music for Disney-Pixar’s The Incredibles 2.

The news was announced by Incredibles writer/director Brad Bird with Giacchino seen above in the tweet.
Giacchino has famously composed soundtracks to many Pixar Films such as the first Incredibles movie and 2009’s Up. He has also recently written the music for Jupiter Ascending, Tomorrowland, Jurassic World and Inside Out.
As for the future, he will score Disney’s Zootropolis, Star Trek Beyond and War For The Planet Of The Apes.
