With Star Wars: The Force Awakens now less than two weeks away from release, many of its stars have been sharing their thoughts on the movie. Harrison Ford said the film was “wonderful” while Daisy Ridley cried for ten hours after watching it. Carrie Fisher (Princess/General Leia) recently appeared on Good Morning America with her bulldog Gary to promote The Force Awakens. Gary had his tongue hanging out during the entire interview, which Fischer claims is due to the greatness of the new Star Wars.
“He panted all the way through,” said Fisher, who watched The Force Awakens with Gary. “He’s looked like that still. The tongue wasn’t out of his mouth before he saw the movie, and now that’s his review. It’ll happen to everyone. Worth it, though. That’s how good it is. You won’t care that your tongue is out of your mouth like that.”
The buildup to The Force Awakens already has us more excited than a dog about to get a treat. If the film is really as good as Fisher says, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if our tongues really do fall out.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18, 2015.
