Fargo star lands role in X-Men TV Show

US network FX are producing an X-Men spinoff TV pilot called Legion with reports that they have now cast their main actress.
Fargo‘s Rachel Keller has landed the role and she will reunite with writer Noah Hawley as he will also pen the X-Men spinoff’s pilot. According to THR, she will play “a scrappy and optimistic woman in her 20s” whose name is being held.
Keller played Simone Gerhardt in Fargo: Season 2
The potential series focuses on the story of David Haller, the alleged son of Professor X who was previously diagnosed with Schizophrenia before realising his supposed illness was actually something more.
Keller has also appeared in The Mentalist and Supernatural. Legion is expected to begin shooting later this month.
