It’s still unknown if Daniel Craig is officially done with James Bond, although Mark Strong of Grimsby recently told ShortList, “I think he’s come to the end of his Bond time.” In any case, Mr. Bond will return in a 25th film, which is officially in early development.
EON Productions’ Gregg Wilson recently commented on the follow-up to last year’s Spectre at an auction for 007 memorabilia.
“We have just begun to talk about ideas for the next movie. Each script process begins when we ask ourselves the question: ‘What is the world afraid right now?” Wilson said, according to FilmWeb.no (Via MI6).
“In the case of Spectre the theme was global surveillance. So right now we are trying to find out what theme will be relevant in the coming years.”
While Spectre provided a fitting final curtain for Craig’s portrayal of Mr. Bond, we’d like to think that the actor still has one more movie in him. Seeing how Craig has previously stated that he’d rather commit suicide than play James Bond again, though, it looks like the studio will need to find a new 007.
I hope he does do one final movie. Would be great if he can go out on a high – perhaps even a masterpiece?!
Yeah, of course it’d hard to imagine them topping Skyfall.
