THR reports that WWE and Sony will both finance and produce the sequel to Surf’s Up. As well as this, WWE superstars like John Cena and The Undertaker will star in the follow up film which has been suitably titled Surf’s Up 2: WaveMania.
Joining Cena and The Undertaker are Triple H, Paige and Vince McMahon as they all voice a crew called The Hang 5.
The story will follow the group as they try to help Cody Maverick search for a legendary big-wave spot known as The Trenches.
Henry Yu will make his directorial debut with this one and you can expect to see it splash onto our screens sometime in 2017.
