Like anything to do with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the DVD and Blu-ray release date has been shrouded in secrecy, with only a rumoured April drop date circling. And now, thanks to what we believe is accidental advertising on behalf of Duracell (and the reporting work of SFX and Total Film), we have what certainly looks to be the exact release date popping up in a UK supermarket. So, looks like Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be hitting UK shelves on April 18. We expect a similar release date for the rest of the world – and we also expect Duracell may be in a bit of trouble with secret-loving Disney.
