There have been rumors that Charlize Theron may be playing a villain in Fast 8. Variety has now confirmed that Theron is officially on board for F. Gary Gray’s film.
It’s still unknown who exactly the Oscar-winning actress will be playing, but she will indeed be one of the film’s baddies. Kristofer Hivju from Game of Thrones will also be starring as a bad guy.
Given her kick-ass work as Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road and diabolical performance as the evil queen in the Huntsman films, Charlize Theron seems like she was tailor-made for a Fast & Furious movie.
The eighth installment in the franchise comes out on April 14th, 2017.
