It was recently confirmed that Sherlock Holmes 3 is officially happening with the return of Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, and director Guy Ritchie. Rachel McAdams could also potentially come back as Irene Adler.
According to Deadline, the film’s script is to be rewritten by James Coyne, who’s previous credit include Vikingdom and Puncture Wounds.
Downey Jr. previously stated that the film should begin shooting this year. It’s unknown when exactly Sherlock Holmes 3 will hit theaters, though.
