Captain America: Civil War Makes Over 1 Billion Dollars Worldwide

Captain America: Civil War, which recently became the highest-grossing movie of 2016, has now crossed the billion dollar mark worldwide.

Variety reports that the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the 25th film to reach such heights. Captain America: Civil War made $314 million domestically after fourteen days and $667 million internationally after 23 days.

The fourth MCU movie to make over a billion dollars, Civil War has also pushed the franchise past the $10 billion mark worldwide. Not too shabby.
