Shane Black’s sequel to 1987’s Predator has had its shooting dates announced. According to Screen Rant, The Predator will begin filming in Vancouver, Canada on September 26 this year. And it’s expected to finish shooting on December 20, with 2017 for any re-shoots. Shane Black starred in the original Predator as an actor, but will write and helm this one.

Scwharzenegger, who also starred in the original Predator is reportedly set to reprise his role as Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer in the sequel. While 50 Cent has said he’ll be making an appearance: “I’ll be doing some new feature films and stuff like that too. I’ll do Predator“, he told SiriusXM’s Shade 45.
With production beginning later this year, we can expect some official casting announcements shortly. The film is scheduled to hit US theaters on February 9 2018.
