Contrary to popular belief, Fifty Shades of Black from earlier this year was not the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey. Ironically, though, the adaptation of E. L. James’ novel arguably had more laughs. With that said, the big screen follow-ups to Fifty Shades of Grey are currently in production. Fifty Shades Darker hits theaters on February 10, 2017 and Fifty Shades Freed comes out on February 9, 2018.

Set photos have surfaced of stars Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) filming Fifty Shades Freed in France. The two were reportedly shooting (SPOILER ALTER) the couple’s honeymoon scene. Johnson sports a bikini that’s fifty shades of yellow while Dornan looks like he’s ready for some S&M on the beach.

In addition to tying with Fantastic Four for Worst Picture, Fifty Shades of Grey took home Razzies for Worst Actress, Worst Actor, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Screen Combo. To be fair, though, the film really wasn’t as bad as people say. One could even argue that the film was so bad it’s good. Still, if this franchise just isn’t your cup of tea, maybe check out our crossover between Fifty Shades of Grey and Deadpool: Fifty Shades of Red.
