Chloe Moretz leaves all of her upcoming movies

Chloe Grace Moretz has dropped a bombshell. She has quit every future film project she was signed up to, including The Little Mermaid remake.

Moretz told The Hollywood Reporter that she needs her acting career to “slow down”:

“I pulled the plug on all my movies because I want to reassess who I am and find myself within my roles again, I’m realising that I can slow down.”

The 19-year-old has already featured in 55 films to date and so it’s no surprise that the young actress wants to take a break.

She added that it was a “‘Come to Jesus’ moment”  that led her to make this decision. Many reports suggest that it also coincides with her breakup with Brooklyn Beckham.

Moretz will instead turn her attention to producing, with two TV projects she’s reportedly working on.

She also recently finished shooting crime drama November Criminals and thriller Brain on Fire, so we can expect to see her in those projects soon.
