5 new character posters have arrived from the Power Rangers reboot, however one has not gone down well with some fans due to its ‘insensitive’ caption.
The yellow ranger’s poster was tweeted with a tag-line that some found to be offensive:

Many fans believe the words “Driver’s Ed (Education) not required” is a direct reference to the original yellow Power Ranger, Thuy Trang, who tragically lost her life in a car accident in 2001 at the age of 27.
Fans took to twitter to express their disapproval over the ‘distasteful’ caption:
That was my first thought also, despite the fact that Thuy wasn't behind the wheel of her car collision.

This is like, the second time the franchise has accidentally made a reference to her actor's death.

If you are reading the MMPR Yellow Ranger poster tweet as some kind of insensitive crack at Thuy Trang's death, you are a fucking idiot.
