5 new character posters have arrived from the Power Rangers reboot, however one has not gone down well with some fans due to its ‘insensitive’ caption.

The yellow ranger’s poster was tweeted with a tag-line that some found to be offensive:

Many fans believe the words “Driver’s Ed (Education) not required” is a direct reference to the original yellow Power Ranger, Thuy Trang, who tragically lost her life in a car accident in 2001 at the age of 27.

Thuy Trang played Trini in the original Power Rangers TV series.
