Star Wars: Rogue One is almost here, just over a week to go and creator of the franchise, George Lucas has now given his opinion on the film.
According to Comicbook.com, Lucas saw the final cut recently and “loved the movie”. Lucas tends to be pretty honest and accurate with his opinions so it bodes well for the film.
Last year, he revealed that he “really liked” The Force Awakens after attending an early screening.” I think the fans are going to love it. It’s very much the kind of movie they’ve been looking for.” he went onto say at the time.
Lucas’ seal of approval of Rogue One comes shortly after he visited the set and told director Gareth Edwards “Don’t screw it up.”.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, and Mads Mikkelsen. It hits the US on December 16, check out the trailer in the meantime:
