Doctor Strange director has seen Logan and says it’s “the best X-Men movie”

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has seen Logan and thinks “it’s f***ing fantastic”. OK well he hasn’t seen the whole film but he has seen about half which certainly is enough to make it a worthy opinion.

Derrickson expressed his love for the film on Twitter, having seen “the first 40 minutes”:

Hugh Jackman’s third solo-Wolverine film is inspired by the ‘Old Man Logan’ comic book series and “is set in 2024, where mutant births are severely in decline, and people aren’t sure why. We find out about a government-type operation called “Transigen” that is turning mutant children into killing machines. Logan ends up mentoring the girl, who has two claws instead of his three.”

So high expectations for Logan now which hits theaters on 3rd March and you can watch the trailer below in the meantime:
