Casey Affleck and Sylvester Stallone reportedly had a disagreement over seating arrangements at the Golden Globes.
Stallone was down on the seating plan to be on the same table as Affleck, but as the Rocky star and his wife Jennifer Flavin made their way to the table at the ceremony, they realised only one seat was available to them.
The feud reportedly began as no-one at the table made any effort to accommodate the couple, leaving Stallone and his wife forced to sit backstage in the greenroom.
A source told People: ”There weren’t enough seats and so there was confusion, but it wasn’t personal against him.”
The outlet also reports that when Affleck tried to apologise to Stallone, he was unforgiving as he felt “embarrassed” over the situation and “had little interest in returning to his table to sit with Affleck and the rest of the Manchester by the Sea group”.
The table also included the film’s director Kenneth Lonergan and producer Matt Damon. Affleck went onto win Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for his role in the movie, so a much better night for him then Stallone it seems.
