The Ocean’s Eight gang is all here..
Warner Bros Pictures have today unveiled the first official look at the main cast of their upcoming spin-off Ocean’s Eight, which you can view below. The new film takes place in the same “universe” as the Ocean’s movies and sees Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) behind the camera.
Sandra Bullock leads the ensemble as Debbie Ocean – the sister of Danny, played in the three Ocean’s movies by George Clooney, and sees her lead a group of women to a heist that reportedly takes place around the Met Gala. Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham-Carter, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna and Awkwafina make up the rest of the ensemble group.
Damien Lewis is said to play the villain of the piece, with Richard Armitage and James Corden also onboard. In addition, Matt Damon is set to return as Linus Caldwell while rumours abound that Clooney is also set to appear.
Ocean’s Eight opens on June 8, 2018.
