Han Solo Movie: Woody Harrelson reveals character name and details

Woody Harrelson has revealed his character’s name in the upcoming Han Solo spinoff movie.

Whilst appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Harrelson confirmed the name of his character in the movie:

 “I play a guy named Beckett” he said.

The Hunger Games star then also gave some minor details about his character:

“[He’s] kind of a criminal and a mentor to Han. That’s all I can say.”

And finally he added that he would be filming for the role in London “until the end of July”. See the full interview below:

While Star Wars: Rogue One director Gareth Edwards is already excited about the Han Solo movie, after he saw early footage and was seriously impressed:

 “They’ve [directors Lord and Miller] got really good taste. You glimpse things – you try not to – as you’re going about your business, but you see stuff. And everything I saw, I got really jealous about it.” Edwards said at the Empire awards.

Harrelson joins the likes of Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover and Emilia Clarke for the Star Wars spinoff film and it’s set for a release on May 25, 2018.
