Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s Tom Holland has revealed that his first meeting with co-star Robert Downey Jr. who plays Tony Stark, was painfully awkward.
Holland made his debut as Spider-Man in last year’s Captain America: Civil War and soon we’ll see his first solo outing in Homecoming. He stars alongside Downey Jr. in the film and has recalled the embarrassing moment when he first met the Iron Man actor:
“I got very nervous about meeting Robert Downey Jr as I have been a fan of his my entire life. When I met him I was thinking, ‘You look different in person, something isn’t quite the same.’ And then Robert walked in and I realised I had been chatting to his stunt double!” he told The Graham Norton Show.
