Ron Howard has shared new images from the set of the young Han Solo movie, teasing a behind-the-scenes look at an orange-and-white astromech droid. See the images below via the director’s Twitter:

These droids can be so damn intractable. But we'll go until we get it right! #UntitledHanSoloMovie pic.twitter.com/tDR6EOW8pn

Howard took over from Chris Miller and Phil Lord, who were fired by LucasFilm for “creative differences”. Meanwhile, leading star Alden Ehrenreich is also thought to have struggled, as an acting coach was reportedly hired late into production. The film’s editor has also been fired in the process, but other than that it all looks positive for the potentially doomed Han Solo movie.
It’s scheduled for release in May 2018.
