According to Variety, early box office tracking suggests that the upcoming movie adaptation of Stephen King’s IT will make around $50 million in its opening domestic weekend. If it manages to do so, it will become the biggest September opening of all time, overtaking 2015’s Hotel Transylvania 2, which made $48 million on its debut.
