Although the project appeared to be off the table for good, The Croods 2 is officially moving forward.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sequel to the 2013 DreamWorks Animation film is set to come out in 2020. This time around, the titular family will cross paths with another prehistoric clan as they adapt to a strange new world.
The original film was a box office success and scored an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature. Will this followup take the franchise to the next step in evolution?
