According to early reports, Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor didn’t make it into Justice League.
Warner Bros. recently screened the anticipated superhero crossover before a lucky audience. Batman News has since tweeted that Lex Luthor’s subplot was absent from the version shown. While this isn’t necessarily the final cut, it appears we probably won’t be seeing Lex or any of his Jolly Ranchers in the finished film.
To be clear: Lex Luthor isn't in the version of #JusticeLeague that WB is currently testing. Things can change by November w/ the final cut. https://t.co/nS8MIo0v6G

Previous reports already speculated that Luthor might’ve been cut during Joss Whedon’s reshoots of the film. Considering that Eisenberg won a Razzie for his portrayal of the character in Batman v Superman, this isn’t especially surprising.
Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
