The Alien: Covenant cast just keeps getting more and more interesting: with Ridley Scott set to direct the next instalment in the evergreen franchise in Australia, The Hateful Eight‘s Demián Bichir has just signed on according to Deadline.
He’ll be joining newcomers Katherine Waterson and Danny McBride, along with Prometheus alumni Michael Fassbender. What role the Mexican actor is to play, we’ve no idea – much like our entire knowledge base on Alien: Covenant – but it’s safe to say that he’ll make an excellent addition to the slowly growing roster of incredible talent. And if you’ve seen The Hateful Eight, you’ll understand Bichir’s precise talent for whipping up a storm of tension and terror in tight spaces – exactly what an Alien movie needs.
