Ridley Scott is producing a Virtual Reality experience of Alien: Covenant.
According to Variety, The Alien: Covenant VR Experience will be released on all “major VR platforms”.
Scott, who is creator of the Alien franchise and director of the new film, has teamed up with Fox Innovation Lab to create the experience which Visual effects artist David Karlak will helm.
The game has been described as “a dread-inducing journey into the depths of the Alien universe.” with the players having to “navigate through horrifying alien environments and a story where every decision could mean the difference between life and death.”
The Alien: Covenant VR Experience currently has no release date but is likely to tie in with the release of the film which arrives on May 19. Check out the movie’s trailer below in the meantime:
