Andrew Garfield “heartbroken” after Amazing Spider-Man role

Andrew Garfield admits he was left “heartbroken a little” with his experience of starring in The Amazing Spider-Man films.

Garfield, of course played Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel. And in an interview with Variety, he spoke of the “struggles” he had with the unfortunate realities of “corporate America”:

“I was still young enough to struggle with the value system, I suppose, of corporate America really, it’s a corporate enterprise mostly. I found that really, really tricky.

I signed up to serve the story, and to serve this incredible character that I’ve been dressing as since I was three, and then it gets compromised and it breaks your heart,”

Tom Holland is taking on the web-slinging role in the newest Spider-Man reboot and Garfield supports the choice and said he’s “really excited to just be a fan again as opposed to bearing the weight of it.”
