Angelina Jolie will reprise her role as the (reformed) Mistress of All Evil in Maleficent 2.
According to Deadline, the Oscar-winning actress mentioned that a sequel to the 2014 hit is currently in development.
“We have been working on the script and this is going to be a really strong sequel,” said Jolie.
Although Maleficent divided critics down the middle, audiences still flocked to the box office. The same can be said about Tim Burton’s live-action version of Alice in Wonderland. Uh-oh, does that mean Maleficent 2 could be another Alice Through the Looking Glass?
