One much more positive piece of news to come out of the recent Sony Pictures hack, is the revelation that an animated Spider-Man comedy is in development. Chris Miller and Phil Lord, who have had much recent success with comedy animations The Lego Movie and the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs films, are producing. This could be a very wise move for Sony, as Spider-Man has always had a strong appeal with kids, and if done right, could really engage with them through comedy. Here’s hoping it does go ahead and is at least as good as The Lego Movie.
