Avatar 2 will have a Titanic reunion
James Cameron and Kate Winslet will reunite for the first time since 1997’s Titanic with Avatar 2.
According to Deadline, the director and actress had been looking to collaborate on another project for the past twenty years. In Avatar 2, Winslet will be playing a character known as Ronal.
Now we just need to get Leo in there.
“Kate and I have been looking for something to do together for 20 years, since our collaboration on Titanic, which was one of the most rewarding of my career,” Cameron stated. “I can’t wait to see her bring the character of Ronal to life.”
Cameron is currently working on all four Avatar sequels, which will have a combined budget of a billion dollars. Avatar 2 is set to come out on December 18, 2020. We’d die if this scene made the final cut:
