Anthony Mackie doesn’t want his own Avenger movie

There has been plenty of speculation regarding a solo Falcon movie for Anthony Mackie’s Avenger but Mackie has denied the rumours telling IGN that he has no interest.

When asked if he would be playing the character solo, he said “No I don’t know. That means my dudes are not going to be there. So Chris [Evans] is not going to be there. Sebastian [Stan] is not going to be there.”

When suggested that his fellow Avengers could cameo in the movie, Mackie still wasn’t convinced. “No, no. Then that week is going to be hell. Hanging out with Chris for a week and then he’s like ‘I don’t want to leave!’ And I’m like ‘Chris dude, you gotta leave.’ You know, it’s just going to be a problem.”

So it’s not looking good for a solo Falcon movie but you can see Anthony Mackie next in Triple 9 which hits UK screens on February 19.
