Benedict Cumberbatch confirms Dr. Strange’s Avengers appearance

Benedict Cumberbatch has confirmed that Doctor Strange will team up with his fellow Marvel heroes in Avengers: Infinity War.

Cumberbatch told Empire that Earth’s Sorcerer Supreme will join the upcoming ‘Avengers’ sequel:

“To get us all together will be quite something. That’s why this character is being introduced, to open up the next chapter… So watch this space to see how that unfolds.”

Cumberbatch joins the likes of Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier). Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) are also expected to star.

It was also revealed recently that the Guardians of the Galaxy team will crossover for the film. Additionally, Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) is rumored to make an appearance.

And we can see all the Marvel heroes unite when Infinity War hits screens on May 4th 2018.

While Cumberbatch’s first display as Doctor Strange will be on November 4th. Check out the trailer below:
