Benicio del Toro could be set to take on the leading role in 20th Century Fox’s upcoming Predator reboot.
Variety reports that del Toro is in talks for a role in the film. The 49-year-old actor impressed last year in Sicario and is also set to feature in Star Wars: Episode 8.
Casting and plot details for The Predator have so far been kept under wraps, although Arnold Schwarzenegger did recently reveal that he may return to reprise his role as Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer from the original.

The Predator is a reboot of the 1987 classic and will be directed by Iron Man‘s Shane Black.
Shooting is expected to begin next year, with a release set for February 9th 2018.
