Big Hero 6 animated series announced for 2017

Fans of Baymax and his loveable antics, rejoice: Big Hero 6 will be getting an animated series spin-off, set for 2017.

Disney announced that the new show will premiere on Disney XD platforms next year, and will pick up where the film left off: Hiro and Baymax – plus the rest of their proto-superhero team, Go Go, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred – will face ‘daunting academic challenges’, not to mention ‘an array of scientifically enhanced villains’.
