Black Panther cracks top 10 most viewed trailer debuts

Marvel’s Black Panther had its first trailer released on Friday and it had an impressive debut, racking up 89 million views in its first day, and therefore becoming the tenth most-watched trailer in the first 24 hours.

It debuted during Game 4 of the NBA finals, before it was released on Facebook, Youtube and Twitter. It got 19 millions views from the game and the remaining 70 million through the social media channels.

The trailer beats the likes of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it’s the third highest Marvel movie in the list, behind Thor: Ragnarok and Captain America: Civil War.
