Blob revealed in new image from X-Men: Apocalypse

Director Bryan Singer has released a new image from X-Men Apocalypse which reveals The Blob’s involvement in the film.

Singer posted the image on Instagram which shows Ben Hardy as Angel standing over what appears to be The Blob:

Blob last appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where he was played by Kevin Durand.

The character has super strength and seemingly impenetrable skin thanks to his size, but looks to have been defeated in the set image above.

We can see The Blob in action when X-Men Apocalypse hits cinemas on May 27.
