It was a pretty slow weekend at the domestic box office with The Jungle Book repeating at #1 yet again. Captain America: Civil War lit up the international box office, however, debuting with an astounding $200.2 million.

The Marvel blockbuster, which hits US theaters on May 6, is expected to have a huge opening weekend in North America. Analysts are currently predicting the film will debut with somewhere between $175 million and $200 million domestically.

Speaking with Variety, Disney distribution chief Dave Hollis stated, “They have found a way to keep the films unbelievably fresh and the reception to this leading into its opening suggests that they’ve delivered arguably one of the best films to come out of the studio.”
