Captain America: Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo have revealed that they’d like Deadpool to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Russo brothers told Screen Junkies that they want to see bad-mouthed Deadpool team up with Steve Rogers:
“Tim Miller [Deadpool director] is a very good friend of ours. We’d love to see Deadpool jump into the MCU. But that’s probably all I have to say about that.” Joe said.
Anthony added: “Yeah, yeah. The great thing about Marvel is that there is an attitude of nothing’s impossible…”
So Deadpool in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could very well be a future possibility. But until then, don’t miss Captain America Civil War which opens today in the UK and May 6 in the US.
