Gwendoline Christie has confirmed that she will return as Captain Phasma in Star Wars: Episode VIII.
The actress revealed the new to People on the SAG 2016 red carpet “I will be in the next Star Wars movie. I think that’s an exclusive, actually,” said Christie.
Many fans who saw Episode 7 felt Christie’s character was extremely underused and so may be hoping that she plays a bigger role in the next film.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is set for a release on 15th December 2017.
