Cast announced for Peanuts movie

After the trailer for Peanuts debuted, many fans of the timeless comic strip were put at ease. The short clip showed that loving detail had been put into the world of Charlie Brown and Snoopy, with beautiful animation that brought to life the well-known characters. To add to that, the cast has just been announced, and while it’s a young line-up – there aren’t any famous faces on the list so far – hopefully it’s another detail that is indicative of the filmmakers wanting talented actors over mere stars. The freshly announced cast includes Noah Schnapp as Charlie Brown, who has most recently starred alongside Tom Hanks in an upcoming and untitled Steven Spielberg thriller, Hadley Belle Miller as Lucy, AJ Tecce as Pig-Pen, Noah Johnston as Schroeder, Venus Scultheis as Peppermint Patty, and Alexander Garfin as the loveable Linus. With little known about the plot at this time, Peanuts looks like a promising animation.
