Charlie Hunnam got angry in King Arthur audition and wanted to “f***ing fight” Cavill & Fassbender
Charlie Hunnam went to extreme lengths to land the role of King Arthur, as he’s revealed that he told director Guy Richie that he would “f***ing fight” Henry Cavill and Michael Fassbender for the part.
“‘I said: You know what? F***ing stop the camera.’” he recapped (via Express).
“I’m starting to lose my temper. I know those other pricks you’ve got reading for this role [Henry Cavill and Michael Fassbender].
“If you bring them in right now, I’ll f***ing fight them both at once for the role, and we’ll see what’s up with the physicality.”
Guy Richie apparently replied: “F***ing hell, alright, calm down mate.”
“If you bring them in right now, I’ll f***ing fight them both at once for the role”
Most directors probably would have ruled Hunnam out of the role after his angry outburst but Richie obviously liked the actor’s desire.
And we can see Hunnam as King Arthur when Legend of the Sword hits theaters on March 24, 2017. And you can watch the trailer below:
